Lee Horsley

Lee Arthur Horsley (born May 15, 1955 in Muleshoe , Texas ) is an American actor .

Life

Lee Horsley began his acting career in musicals ( Oklahoma ! , West Side Story ), with which he toured in the late 1970s. It was through this that he found his way to film, preferably in television productions. He made his cinematic debut in 1981 with the short-lived television series Nero Wolfe , in which he played Nero Wolfe's assistant Archie Goodwin. This was followed by the lead role of Matt Houston in the detective series of the same name, which he played for three years.

Horsley then appeared in other television productions, including the 1985 Agatha Christie filming Mord à la Carte with Peter Ustinov and the 1986 miniseries Fackeln im Sturm, which was also very successful in Germany , in which he played two episodes of the southern gentleman Rafe Beaudeen . In 1992/93 he played the leading role in the crime series Murder Without a Trace . Some of his other productions celebrated considerable success, but this was often regionally limited. B. Snowy River: The McGregor Saga , which was very popular in 1995 in Australia where it was set.

In addition to his work as an actor, it is known about the 1.91 m tall actor that he is said to be a very accomplished rider and allegedly also appears in American rodeo shows.

He has two children, daughter Amber (* 1981) and son Logan (* 1983).
