Lee Jun-gil (born September 18, 1985 ) is a retired South Korean cross-country skier .

Career

Lee took part in competitions of the Fédération Internationale de Ski from 2002 to 2011 . He ran his first of a total of two World Cup races in November 2008 in Kuusamo , which he finished with 81st place in the sprint. In January 2009 he became the South Korean champion over 10 km classic and 15 km freestyle. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 , he finished 80th in the sprint. In 2010 he won gold at the South Korean championships over 15 km freestyle. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he reached 79th place over 15 km freestyle. At the 2011 Asian Winter Games , he won bronze with the relay.
