Lee Ryan (born June 17, 1983 in Chatham , Kent ) is a British singer .

Career

Ryan became internationally known as a member of the boy group Blue , with whom he sold more than 13 million records between 2001 and 2005. He used the band's creative break to establish himself as a solo artist.

In July 2005 his debut single was released under the title Army of Lovers , with which he immediately reached number 3 in the charts in his home country. Even with the debut album released a week later, he was able to place in the top 10 in Great Britain. His single Real Love was also known as the credits for the film " Ice Age 2 - Jetzt Taut’s ". In 2019 he is a participant in the British reality TV show "Celebs Go Dating". From September to November 2019 he will play a role in the musical "Rip it Up the 70s" and take part in the musical tour of the UK.
