Leen Verbeek
Leendert (Leen) Verbeek (born March 5, 1954 in Leiderdorp ) is a Dutch politician of the Democrats 66 (D66).
Verbeek was a member of the municipal council of Houten and also an alderman of this municipality in the province of Utrecht .
From 2003 to 2008 he was mayor of Purmerend in the province of North Holland .
Since November 2008 he has been Commissioner for the King of the Province of Flevoland .
