Lehenweiler is a district of Aidlingen in the Boeblingen district . The place is in the Heckengäu between the Black Forest and Stuttgart . It is a village with 529 inhabitants (as of the end of 2018)

history

In 1709, Duke Eberhard Ludwig gave three merited guardsmen of his army at their request 15 acres each from the fiefs of the Aidlingen region . This also explains the origin of the name, and Lehenweiler is the youngest and smallest settlement in the Böblingen district.

Infrastructure

In the middle of the village is the old school , built in 1813 , which is now used as a community center. There is a bus connection to Aidlingen and the town of Böblingen, about 12 kilometers away . There are shopping opportunities in nearby Aidlingen.
