Odratzheim is a French commune with 499 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ). It is a member municipality in the communal association Communauté de communes de la Mossig et du Vignoble .
geography
The municipality of Odratzheim is located about 18 kilometers west of Strasbourg in the Upper Rhine Valley on the Mossig .
history
From 1871 until the end of the First World War , Odratzheim belonged to the German Empire as part of the realm of Alsace-Lorraine and was assigned to the Molsheim district in the Lower Alsace district .
The municipality belonged to the Communauté de communes de la Porte du Vignoble , founded in 1994 , which was merged into the Communauté de communes de la Mossig et du Vignoble in 2017 .
