Zehnacker is a French commune with 246 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ). She is a member of the Communauté de communes de la Mossig et du Vignoble .

Neighboring communities of Zehnacker are Knœrsheim in the north, Rangen in the east, Hohengœft in the south, Crastatt in the south-west and Jetterswiller in the west.

history

It was first mentioned in 739, when the village was owned by the Marmoutier monastery .

Zehnacker was a member of the Communauté de communes des Coteaux de la Mossig  , founded in 1992  , which was merged into the Communauté de communes de la Mossig et du Vignoble in 2017  . On January 1, 2015, the municipality moved from the Arrondissement of Saverne to the Arrondissement of Molsheim and at the same time from the Canton of Marmoutier to the Canton of Saverne.
