Bellefosse (1915 officially German translation: Schöngrund ) is a French commune with 150 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Vosges in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ).
history
On April 1, 1974, Bellefosse merged with Waldersbach and Belmont to form the municipality of Le Ban-de-la-Roche . In 1975 Fouday also joined. The municipalities, which have been independent since January 1, 1992, are members of the Vallée de la Bruche municipal association .

Community partnerships
Together with the other communities in the Steintal (Ban de la Roche), namely Belmont , Fouday , Neuviller-la-Roche , Rothau , Solbach , Wildersbach and Waldersbach , Neuviller maintains a partnership with the American town of Woolstock .
