The Communauté de communes de la Vallée de la Bruche is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region . It was founded on December 29, 1999 and consists of 26 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Schirmeck . The name refers to the river Bruche , in the vicinity of which the communities are located.

Historical development

The community association was originally founded under the name Communauté de communes de la Haute-Bruche . In 2012 the name was changed to the current name.
