It was founded on December 24, 2007 and consists of 24 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Durrenbach .

Historical development

The community association was created through the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté de communes de la Vallée de la Sauer and the Communauté de communes de Pechelbronn .
