The Communauté de communes de la Mossig et du Vignoble is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region . It was founded on January 1, 2017 and comprises 24 parishes. The administrative seat is in Wasselonne . The name refers to the river Mossig which crosses the area and the location on the Alsace Wine Route .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté de communes des Coteaux de la Mossig and Communauté de communes de la Porte du Vignoble .
