The Leica SL (Type 601) is a camera housing from the Leica SL digital camera system .
The model was presented on October 20, 2015. The image sensor has a resolution of 6000 × 4000 pixels and an adjustable exposure index from 50 to 50,000. It has a built-in electronic viewfinder with a resolution of 4.4 million pixels. The maximum frame rate is eleven frames per second.
Video
In the video sector, the camera can record videos in 4K resolution with 3840 × 2160 (UHD) pixels at 30, 25 or 24 frames per second. The Cine4K format is also available for 24, 25 images per second. 1080p videos can be recorded in 120p, 100p, 60p, 50p, 25p, 24p, either from the active sensor surface in Super35 format or over the entire full format sensor surface.
