(17891) Buraliforti is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 6 March 1999 by the American Italo- astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code in 684) Arizona was discovered.
The celestial body was named on January 9, 2001 after the Italian mathematician Cesare Burali-Forti (1861–1931), who became known through the discovery of the Burali-Forti paradox in 1897 , which is formed when the set of all ordinal numbers is formed.
