The Ghana Athletics Association (GAA) nominated an athlete for the 2013 World Athletics Championships in Moscow, Russia . The long jumper Ignisious Gaisah received a Dutch passport on July 8, 2013, about five weeks before the start of the championships . The national record holder therefore started the competitions for his adopted home Netherlands.
