The Leiendecker Bloas is a German dialect band.

history

Leiendecker Bloas was founded in 1986 in Trier . They play rock music with texts in the Trier dialect . Among other things, they wrote the fan song for Eintracht Trier ( For us only Eintracht Trier , 2005). The first appearance took place on February 21, 1987 in the Tufa during a meeting of the ACC (Alternative Carneval Club). Every year during the carnival session, the Leiendecker Bloas appears at the ceremonial meetings of the Trier Carnival Society Heuschreck , and Helmut Leiendecker is also active as a hand-made speaker at the Heuschreck.

On March 6, 2007 guitarist Joachim (Joa) Rother died unexpectedly at the age of 52, which caused deep consternation in the Trier music scene. Born on September 25, 1954 in Rudgershagen ( Upper Silesia ), Rother, who came to Trier in 1958, left behind his wife and three children. The band's parting words in the obituary were written on Trier plateau: “Eich well net know how dat it is when my Kumbel takes better. Without deich it all cold o klaan on without deich se me allan.
