The Leirufjörður (Eng. Lehmfjord ) is a fjord in the Westfjords in northwest Iceland .
The fjord is the smallest and southernmost of the Jökulfirðir , a group of five fjords on the north bank of the Ísafjarðardjúp . It extends about 4 km into the country and is located about 5 km southwest of the Drangajökull glacier . It got its name from the clay deposits of the Jökulá glacial river, which flows into the fjord.
