The Leith Harbor (also Leith Harbor ) is the northernmost three sub-bays at the head of Stromness Bay on the north coast of South Georgia .
The name has been known since at least 1912 and probably goes back to whalers from Salvesen & Co. in Leith , Scotland , who set up a whaling station at the head of the bay .
