Control center radio

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As a control center radio is meant for emergency service , the (BOS) voice traffic handling between emergency vehicles and possibly head of operations with the control center . The control center radio is to be differentiated from the emergency station radio and takes place with analog BOS radio on the frequency band in the so-called 4 m band . In some places the radio channel is used exclusively for communication with the control center, which then takes place in star traffic with the control center as a star head. However, it has proven useful for smaller radio traffic groups to also process vehicle radio via this channel so that it is used in roundabouts . As a result, each vehicle only needs a 4 m radio station , or can still be reached through the control center during radio communication with another vehicle, while the control center can monitor the radio traffic between the vehicles. With the introduction of digital radio , analog control center radio is to be replaced across the board.
