Operation site radio

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As employment places radio is meant for emergency service to (BOS) voice communications at a work site . In the case of the BOS, this is usually a (possibly multiple) star traffic with the group and platoon leaders as star heads. The absolute star head is the command of operations , which varies in size depending on the size of the operation . The number of devices that will participate in the radio can vary depending on the authority, state or local conditions.

Analog radio

In the analog BOS radio , the operation center radio is mainly carried out on the frequency band in the 2-meter band , while in the 4-meter band mostly only the control center radio takes place. Deviating from this, in the medical area, the emergency station radio must often also be carried out in the 4-meter band, because many vehicles of the rescue service are not equipped with radio devices for the 2-meter band.

Digital radio

  • In digital radio , the control center can use dynamic group formation to assign all forces involved to a call group that is only valid for this mission.
  • The federal states of Baden-Wuerttemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia have decided that the analogue operation site radio will be retained for the non-police BOS.
