Leivonmäki [ ˈlɛi̯vɔnmæki ] is a place and a former municipality in Finland . It is located in the south of the Central Finland region on State Road 4 around 50 kilometers south of the city of Jyväskylä .

The municipality of Leivonmäki was incorporated into Joutsa at the beginning of 2008 . In addition to the main town of the same name, the villages Etu-Ikola, Havumäki, Kivisuo, Lapinkylä, Martinkylä, Rutalahti, Savenaho, Selänpohja and Taka-Ikola belonged to it. It had an area of ​​410 km² and recently almost 1,200 inhabitants. The 29 km² Leivonmäki National Park is located in the former municipal area . Leivonmäki had had a partnership with Haaslava ( Estonia ) since 1990 .
