Lectionary 2 (named sigla 2 after the numbering by Gregory-Aland ) is a Greek manuscript of the New Testament on parchment sheets. It was dated to the 10th century by means of paleography . It had previously been assigned to different time periods. Scrivener dated it to the 9th century, Omont to the 14th century, and Gregory to the 10th century. Nowadays dating to the 10th century is commonly accepted.

The code contains lessons from the Gospels ( Evangelistarium ) along with some lacunae . It is described in Greek uncial manuscript on 257 sheets of parchment (28.6 × 21.8 cm). Each page has 2 columns with 18 lines each.

history

This manuscript originally belonged to Colbert. It was examined in detail by Wettstein and Scholz.

The code is now in the Bibliothèque nationale de France (Gr. 280).
