Lena Sender (born July 2, 1997 in Bad Friedrichshall ) is a former German soccer player who played for VfL Sindelfingen in the Bundesliga .

Career

Sender started her career at the age of five with FC Obersulm. After stints at FC Heilbronn and SC Abstatt, she joined the C-youth team at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in 2010 . After good performances for the U-17 from Hoffenheim, she moved to Bundesliga team VfL Sindelfingen in summer 2013 . There she celebrated her Bundesliga debut against 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam on September 15, 2013 , when she was substituted on for Anja Selensky in the 65th minute .

Futsal

Until she moved to Hoffenheim in July 2010, Sender played active futsal at junior level for FG Unterland in addition to football .
