Lene Byberg (born November 25, 1982 in Stavanger , Rogaland Province ) is a former Norwegian cyclist with a focus on mountain bike races .

Career

Byberg represented her country at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games and finished 48th and 13th in MTB Cross Country . At the 2007 Mountain Bike World Championships she was eighth in this discipline. She became Norwegian champion six times: in 2004 on the road in the criterion race , in 2006, 2007 and 2010 in MTB cross-country and in 2005 and 2006 in the mountain bike marathon .
