The 20th World Mountain Bike Championships took place from 3. September bis September 9, 2007 in the Scottish city of Fort William instead. On Ben Nevis , the highest mountain in Great Britain, 18 decisions were made in the disciplines of Cross Country , Downhill , Four Cross and Trials .
