Matti Lehikoinen

Matti Lehikoinen (born April 19, 1984 in Espoo , Finland ) is a Finnish mountain bike rider.

The Finn got his first mountain bike at the age of four. Before he started downhill in 1998 , Lehikoinen raced in the disciplines of cross country and road. In 2006 he won the World Cup in Brazil . His favorite routes are Kalpalinna (Finland), Whistler ( Canada ) and Schladming ( Austria ). Matti Lehikoinen rode with Brendan Fairclough and Greg Minnaar , who has been with Team Santa Cruz Syndicate since 2008, for Team G Cross from Honda. After its dissolution at the end of 2007, he was signed with MS-Racing Intense.
