Lenita Anneli Toivakka (born September 28, 1961 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish politician of the conservative National Collection Party . From May 2015 to June 2016 she was Minister for Foreign Trade and Development in the Sipilä cabinet . Before that she was Minister for Europe and Foreign Trade under Alexander Stubb from 2014 to 2015 . She was also a member of the Advisory Board of the World Bank Group (WBG) for Gender and Development Policy.

On June 21, 2016, Toivakka resigned as minister because of measures to give her family business tax breaks and the resulting negative public perception. He was succeeded by Kai Mykkänen .
