Cabinet Stubb
The Stubb Cabinet was the 73rd government cabinet in Finnish history . It was sworn in on June 24, 2014 and held office until its replacement on May 29, 2015 by the Sipilä cabinet .
After the parliamentary elections on March 18, 2011, Jyrki Katainen led his conservative National Assembly Party into a coalition with Social Democrats, the Left Alliance, the Greens, the Swedish People's Party and Christian Democrats. The left alliance left the coalition in March 2014, the two ministers of the left, Paavo Arhinmäki and Merja Kyllönen , resigned. Katainen announced his resignation at the beginning of April 2014, and was succeeded by Alexander Stubb on June 24, 2014 .
In September 2014, the Greens left the coalition after the cabinet voted 10-7 to build another nuclear power plant in Pyhäjoki .
After the parliamentary elections on April 19, 2015 , in which the Social Democrats performed poorly and the Stubbs rallying party was ousted to second place by the Center Party, the Sipilä cabinet was formed on May 29, 2015 , under the chairman of the Center Party, Juha Sipilä, as Prime Minister Stubb heard as Secretary of the Treasury.
