The Fagerholm I cabinet was the 32nd government cabinet in Finnish history . It was in office from July 29, 1948 to March 17, 1950 (597 days).
After the parliamentary elections of July 1 and 2, 1948 , which brought the greatest losses to the left people's democrats, who had previously ruled with Mauno Pekkala as prime minister, the social democrat Karl-August Fagerholm formed a minority government. Apart from members of the Social Democratic Party, no other members of other parties belonged to the Fagerholm I cabinet. Foreign Minister Carl Enckell, who had held the post in 1918/19, 1922 and 1924 and for a short time under Pekkala, was non-party.
