The Tuomioja cabinet was the 37th government cabinet in the history of Finland . It was in office from November 17, 1953 to May 5, 1954 (170 days).

The Tuomioja cabinet succeeded the Kekkonen IV cabinet of Urho Kekkonen, who most recently led a government from the Landbund and the Swedish People's Party with no majority. Kekkonen had already submitted his resignation to President Juho Kusti Paasikivi in June 1953. After he again led the minority government with the Swedish People's Party from July onwards, Paasikivi appointed Tuomioja as transitional prime minister in November until new elections would take place in March .

In addition to Tuomioja from the Liberal Association - a party that was not represented in parliament - and non-party members, the cabinet also included members of the Conservative Party, the Swedish People's Party and the People's Party of Finland.
