Teuvo aura
Teuvo Ensio Aura (born December 28, 1912 in Ruskeala , Karelia , † January 11, 1999 in Helsinki ) was a Finnish politician and two-time Prime Minister.
Aura, who belonged to the National Progressive Party and later to the Free Democrats and the Liberal People's Party , was mayor of Helsinki from 1968 to 1979. From May 14 to July 15, 1970 and from October 29, 1971 to February 23, 1972, he was Prime Minister of transitional governments made up of experts. The first government was one of the shortest in Finnish history with only 63 days in office.
For his services to Finnish politics he was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of the White Rose of Finland . In 1972 he received the Grand Decoration of Honor in Gold on Ribbon for Services to the Republic of Austria .
