Urho Castrén
Urho Jonas Castrén (born December 30, 1886 in Jyväskylä , † March 8, 1965 in Helsinki ) was a Finnish politician and Prime Minister.
The law graduate was President of the Supreme Administrative Court and from December 1925 to December 1926 Minister of Justice in Kyösti Kallio's cabinet .
From September 21 to November 17, 1944, Castrén, who belonged to the National Collection Party (Kokoomus), was Prime Minister of a transitional government. The armistice agreement with the Soviet Union was signed two days before he took office .
