Reino Ragnar Lehto
Reino Ragnar Lehto (born May 2, 1898 in Turku , † July 13, 1966 in Helsinki ) was a Finnish politician and Prime Minister.
After studying law, he worked as a lawyer in Turku from 1922 to 1932 and later as a notary. For 28 years, from 1936 to 1964, he was State Secretary (kansliapäällikkö) of the Finnish Ministry of Trade and Industry.
After Prime Minister Ahti Karjalainen's resignation , he was Prime Minister of a transitional government from December 18, 1963 to September 12, 1964, which consisted of an independent cabinet of civil servants. He was then from September 18, 1964 until his death on July 13, 1966 governor of the province of Uusimaa ( Nyland ).
