Lennart Heimer

Lennart Heimer (born March 11, 1930 in Östersund , Sweden , † March 12, 2007 in Trevilians, Virginia ) was a Swedish-American neurosurgeon and author. He developed new concepts about the organization of the human brain . Heimer taught neuroanatomy at the University of Virginia from 1972 . He has authored numerous textbooks and educational videos for medical students.
