Lens ervoides is a plant from the genus of lenses ( Lens ).

features

Lens ervoides is an annual stem therophyte that reaches heights of 10 to 30 centimeters. The plant is fluffy when compressed. The leaves have no or only a short tendril. The 4 to 8 leaflets are linear to elliptical and 8 to 21 × 1 to 3 (4) millimeters in size. The grapes are one or two flowered and nodding. The flower stalks are not awned. The crown is light blue and 4 to 6 millimeters in size. The pods are fluffy and measure 9 to 11 × 4 to 5 millimeters.

The flowering period extends from April to May.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 14.

Occurrence

Lens ervoides occurs in dry fallow land in the Mediterranean , at altitudes of 400 to 1300 meters on Crete.
