Lenvik

Lenvik ( Sami Leaŋgáviika ) is a former municipality in Northern Norway in the former province ( Fylke ) Troms , today Troms og Finnmark . As part of the municipal reform in Norway , Lenvik was transferred to the newly created municipality of Senja on January 1, 2020 .

It was partly on the Norwegian mainland, partly on the island of Senja , which is connected by a bridge to the administrative center of Finnsnes (around 4,300 inhabitants) on the mainland. Other settlements are Silsand , Gibostad , Botnhamn and Finnfjordbotn .
