Leo Hendrik Baekeland Award
The Leo Baekeland Award of the American Chemical Society (Section North Jersey) is an award since 1945 Price of one in the United States acting chemist for pure chemistry or industrial chemistry . The winner must be under 40 years of age.
The prize is endowed with $ 5,000 and is associated with a gold medal . It is named after Leo Hendrik Baekeland and is awarded every two years. It was originally sponsored by Union Carbide .
