Leo Reinke

Leo Reinke (born March 11, 1909 in Cappeln-Osterhausen , † August 31, 1978 in Cloppenburg ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Leo Reinke worked as a farmer in Cappeln from 1929. In the Second World War he served as a soldier in the Air Force from 1939 to 1945. He held numerous offices, for 20 years he was chairman of the Kreislandvolkverband in Cloppenburg, where he was a district farmer , and he was also a board member and chairman of the personnel committee of the Oldenburgische Chamber of Agriculture, in the Heimatbund Oldenburg / Münsterland he took over the post of first chairman and he was a member of the North German Parliamentary Council . From May 6, 1951 to June 20, 1974 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (2nd to 7th electoral period). He was involved in various committees, for example from June 28, 1967 to June 20, 1970 he was Vice President of the Lower Saxony State Parliament, from December 16, 1957 to May 5, 1959, he was Chairman of the Committee on Budget and Finance and from March 20, 1962 to 9 May 1962 Chairman of the Special Committee on Storm Surge Disaster .

He was married and had nine children.
