Leo Shuken
Leo Shuken (born December 8, 1906 in Los Angeles , † July 24, 1976 in Santa Monica , California ) was an American film composer , arranger and musical director .
Life
Shuken was in the film business from the late 1930s until shortly before his death. Already at the beginning of this career he received an Oscar in 1940 for his participation in the editing of the film music for the classic Western Ringo by director John Ford . In 1965 he was nominated again for the orchestration of Goldgräber-Molly .
