Leonardo ( French Léonard ) is a Franco-Belgian comic series that revolves around the rather narcissistic portrayed Leonardo da Vinci and his inventions . He is supported in this by his lazy but very versatile apprentice, who always has to serve as a guinea pig. 50 volumes have so far appeared in France . Some volumes have also been translated into German and published by Carlsen Verlag and Ehapa .
Production and publication
The drawings by Leonardo are from Turk's pen , the text up to volume 46 was written by Bob de Groot (-2015), the other volumes are from Zidrou , most recently volume 50, which appeared in April 2019 (in time for the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's death ). The Carlsen Verlag in 1983 to March 1985, the original volumes 1, 2, 6, 7, published in non-chronological order, 10th From February 1989 to December 1991 further translated books were published by Ehapa- Verlag.
