Leonardo Cruz
Leonardo Cruz (* 17th January 1953 in Santiago de los Caballeros , Dominican Republic ) is a former Dominican boxer in the super bantamweight . He was managed by Carmelo Castro .

On March 3, 1971, he made his professional debut and boxed only a draw. On June 12, 1982 he was World Champion of the WBA when he defeated Sergio Víctor Palma by split judge decision. He defended this title three times and lost it in February 1984 to the Italian Loris Stecca due to a technical knockout in round 12.
In 1989 he ended his career.
