Sergio Víctor Palma
Sergio Victor Palma (* 1. January 1956 in La Tigra ) is a former Argentine boxer in the super bantamweight . He was managed by Tito Lectoure .
Career
On January 15, 1976, Palma successfully made his professional debut. On August 9, 1980, he became World Champion of the WBA when he defeated Leo Randolph with a technical knockout in round 5. He defended this title a total of five times and lost it on June 12, 1982 to Leonardo Cruz on points.
In 1980 Palma was named Argentina's Sportsman of the Year with the Olimpia de Oro . In 1990 he ended his career.
