Leonas Apšega
Leonas Apšega (born December 10, 1940 in Kinderiai , district of Kupiškis ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
From 1947 Apšega learned in Gaigaliai and 1959 in Šimoniai at Kupiškis . In 1962 he graduated from the technical center for hydromelioration in Panevėžys and in 1987 the diploma study of hydrotechnology at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija . From 1962 to 1963 he worked in Vievis . From 1963 to 1966 he served in the Soviet Army. From 1968 to 1987 he was chairman of the board of kolkhoz in Žaideliai . From 1990 to 1992 he was a member of the Seimas. From 1992 to 1995 he was first deputy mayor and from 1997 to 2007 mayor of the district of Kupiškis .
From 1994 he was a member of the Lietuvos valstiečių partija .
