Leonhard Nunberger (born December 7, 1930 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Nunberger was part of the FC Bayern Munich squad for the 1956/57 season , played four point games and scored five goals in the Oberliga Süd , the top German division at the time, to which FC Bayern Munich had returned after a year in second division . He crowned his debut on April 28, 1957 (27th matchday) in a 1-1 draw in the away game against BC Augsburg with his first goal for Bayern, the 1-0 in the 39th minute. A week later, he recorded a double-goal success in a 4-1 win at home against Eintracht Frankfurt with the 2-0 and 3-0 goals in the 37th and 63rd minutes. In the 1957/58 season he scored two goals in eleven league games and in 1958/59 , his last, one goal in 13 league games. His last league game, which he lost with the team, he played on May 3, 1959 (29th matchday) in the stadium on Grünwalder Strasse in the 2: 5 defeat against 1. FC Nuremberg .
Then he moved to SSV Jahn Regensburg and played in the 1959/60 season in the 2nd Oberliga Süd , which he finished second with the team and thus rose to the Oberliga Süd. In the ten point games in which he scored a goal, he met his previous club on October 2, 1960 (8th matchday). The home game against FC Bayern Munich was lost 0-1; Miloš Milutinović scored the winning goal in the second minute.
At the end of the season, his team was the last of 16 participating teams and with only three wins from 30 games to relegate to the 2nd Oberliga Süd.
