The Leonhardbach is a city stream in the 2nd district of Graz, St. Leonhard .

It is created by the confluence of the Stiftingbach and Ragnitzbach rivers shortly before the St. Leonhard cemetery. From the intersection of Sparbersbachgasse and Schillerstraße, the Leonhardbach continues underground under Sparbersbachgasse. At the intersection with Mandellstrasse, the Kroisbach flows underground , creating the Grazbach .

Due to the increasing construction of the river bank, there were repeated heavy floods at the Leonhardbach. A heavy flood in 1913 is known, but in recent times the brook has repeatedly overflowed its banks.

After a series of floods in Graz from the turn of the millennium, flood protection structures are being expanded and strengthened throughout Graz. The bed of the Leonhardbach is also to be expanded by 2.5 million euros.
