Leonid Abramowitsch Yusefowitsch
Leonid Abramowitsch Yusefowitsch ( Russian Леони́д Абра́мович Юзефо́вич ; * December 18, 1947 in Moscow ) is a Russian crime writer and history professor.
He first achieved greater fame with the publication of a biography of the Baron Roman von Ungern-Sternberg . Yusefowitsch later became internationally known with his trilogy about the St. Petersburg Police President Putilin. The first volume, entitled In the Name of the Tsar , was also made into a film.
