Leontine Paulmann
Leontine Paulmann , married Leontine Benedix (born December 24, 1836 in Riga , † 1914 ) was a German child actress and stage actress .
Life
The daughter of the actor couple Julius Paulmann and the Hulda Emilie Klotz began playing children's roles at the Burgtheater in 1850, was also used in teenage girls' roles, but left the Hofbühne association in 1857 and took part in the Hoftheater in Braunschweig; then she came to Leipzig, Graz, Altenburg and the court theater in Weimar, whereupon she withdrew from the stage entirely.
She was married to Roderich Benedix from 1860 . Their son Walter Benedix comes from this marriage . Her sister was Therese Paulmann , her uncle August Paulmann (1827–1885) and her grandfather Carl Ludwig Paulmann . Hugo Benedix , only two years younger than her, thus became her stepson.
