Julius Paulmann

Julius Paulmann (* 1813 ; † December 20, 1874 in Vienna ) was a German theater actor .

Life

The son of the actor Carl Ludwig Paulmann worked at the Leipzig City Theater from 1844 to 1850 and was from there committed to the Hofburgtheater. One of his first roles was "Daniel" in "The Robbers". He played this role on December 20, 1874 and met this meritorious actor that evening after the last words of "Daniel" on the stage of the heartbeat.

He was married to the actress Hulda Emilie Klotz , their children Leontine Paulmann and Therese Paulmann were also actresses. His brother was the actor August Paulmann (1827–1885).
