Leopold Breinschmid

Leopold Breinschmid (born September 17, 1905 in Baden near Vienna , Lower Austria ; † December 28, 1980 ibid) was an Austrian winegrower and politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP).

Life

After attending eight classes in elementary school , Breinschmid began working as a winegrower . From 1933 to 1938 he was chairman of the winegrowing association in Baden and chairman of the wine cooperative .

He was a member of the municipal council of Baden near Vienna, the district chamber of farmers, the regional association of winegrowers in Austria and the regional farmers' council for cooperatives. From December 19, 1945 to April 30, 1948 he was also a member of the Bundesrat ( fifth legislative period ) in the ÖVP parliamentary group.
