Leopold Fleischhacker (politician)

Leopold Fleischhacker (born November 5, 1891 in Pamhagen , † November 27, 1960 in Kittsee ) was an Austrian farmer and politician ( CS ). Fleischhacker was a member of the Burgenland State Parliament and a member of the Federal Council.

Life

Fleischhacker was born as the son of the farmer Leopold Fleischhacker from Pamhagen. He attended elementary school and then worked as a farmer. He did his military service from 1915 and was taken prisoner by Russia, from which he did not return until 1921. He got married in Riga. Fleischhacker was Chamber Councilor of the Burgenland Chamber of Agriculture between 1927 and 1931.

Fleischhacker was a member of the state party executive of the Landbund between 1924 and 1928 and was also the second secretary from 1924 to 1925. He subsequently converted to the Christian Social Party and from 1930 also took on political mandates for the Christian Social Party. Fleischhacker moved into the Federal Council on December 20, 1930, of which he was a member until May 2, 1934. In addition, on June 21, 1933, he replaced Josef Reil in the Burgenland state parliament, in which he represented the Christian Social Party until October 31, 1934.
