Leopold Hartl
Leopold Hartl (born November 3, 1906 in Vienna ; † December 17, 1979 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and police officer. From 1958 to 1970 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .
Hartl worked as a bank clerk after primary and secondary school and served in the Austrian Armed Forces between 1925 and 1928. In 1929 he became a police officer and was subsequently assigned to the Vienna- Margareten security guard department, where he became inspector general of the security guard . After the Second World War , Hartl became Secretary of State Secretary Graf in 1948, and in 1952 he joined the Vienna- Alsergrund security guard . He later became commander of the Wieden security guard department and was promoted to police colonel.
In the political field, Hartl was active as the federal chairman of the comradeship of the executive branch in Austria and in 1960 took over the office of regional party chairman of the ÖVP Vienna. He was also chairman of the Austrian Association of Pensioners and Pensioners from 1966 and represented the ÖVP in the National Council from October 16, 1958 to March 31, 1970.
